About

Alexander Wiseman is currently based in Auckland, New Zealand. His artwork focuses on imaginary scenes, drawing rich imagery from dreams, memories, and personal experiences. The paintings begin as a seed of an idea, sometimes just a single gesture or thought, which then, working on paper, he then weaves an image around. Growing up in Brunei, the influence of living in Asia is evident in many of his paintings. Alexander is also a bone sculptor and musician, alongside a career as an Electrical Engineer.
